Violet Hirman
Violet is a first-year from St. Paul, Minnesota. As a prospective English major, she published her first full length novel before graduating high school, as well as several individual poems. This project challenged Violet with creating an interactive game simulating the rescue of Eliza Fraser. She covered the majority of the page regarding historical storytelling and pseudohistory, co-led the effects of colonialism with Aidan Bender, and managed the organization of the bibliography shared among the group.
Aidan Bender
Aidan is a first-year student-athlete from Wenonah, New Jersey. He is a prospective political science major and plays both football and baseball for the Carleton Knights. Throughout the project, Aidan authored the majority of the overview page while creating a timeline of Stirling Castle’s journey as well as an interactive map, highlighting points of interest throughout the voyage, before and after the wreck.
